Rebecca is a Kaanju woman and her Traditional Land runs from the North of Coen and the Archer River to Batavia.  

Rebecca is a specialist in Workforce Development, Individual Development and Business Mentoring in operations, structure, administration, funding, and growth strategies. 

Through her working history Rebecca has developed expert skills in Employment and Training Initiatives, Australian Apprenticeships, Compliance and Management of NVR/VET quality framework, Management and Administration of an RTO and Job Services Australia. 

Rebecca has extensive experience in working with small to medium and Indigenous organizations in operating, developing, and growing their businesses, and is an expert in working with business and industry to adopt policies in skill development and implementation of Indigenous employment programs and Indigenous business procurement. 

Rebecca is an Indigenous woman and heavily involved in community activities and working with Schools and Industry Organizations to develop retention strategies and recruitment practices for the Indigenous people in all regions in Queensland. 

Rebecca’s experience, knowledge and understanding of Indigenous communities allows her to tailor programs to help individuals and Indigenous communities increase the participation of Indigenous people in further education, training, and employment.
