Drainer

Location: Perth Based Local Work – South And North of the River

47 – 50 hours per week

Must hold current drivers license

Tasks will include;

  • Undertaking assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of pipe vales and fitting, joining and securing pipes
  • Set out and coordinating of drainage works
  • Performing labouring and cleaning work 
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

To be successful in this role you will need;

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • PVC – pipelaying accreditation (desirable for Drainer but can be obtained prior to commencement as required) 
  • Drainage experience (Drainer) 
  • Blue/White Card
  • Excellent safety record

Electrical Technician – Fire

Location: Mackay, QLD

Full time

We are looking for qualified/licenced Electricians in Mackay who are interested in working in the Fire Protection industry.

Tasks will include;

  • Responsible for fire systems for our current and new customers focusing on service maintenance, installation, modification and repair of Fire Detection Systems incorporating special hazards & Emergency / Exit lights. 
  • Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment 
  • Technical Assistance/backup for On Call Technicians
 

To be successful in this role you will need;

  • Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)
  • Current QLD Electrical Licence
  • Current driver’s licence
  • QBCC Licence (Electrical Stream, Special Hazards Stream)
  • Ability to obtain and undergo regularly Standard 11/Coal Board Medical
  • Able to undergo a National Police Check.
  • A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is preferred.
  • A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are ideal, but not mandatory.
  • Good time management skills
  • Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
  • Strong knowledge of AS 1851, AS 1670, AS 3000
  • Previous experience in fire systems inspections & maintenance
  • Up to date product and industry knowledge with Tyco, Notifier and other prominent Fire system brands
  • Working at Heights Licence
  • Confined Space Licence

Fire Suppression Traineeship

Location:  Perth, WA

Full-Time

Tasks will include:

  • Identifying defects & service requirements
  • Participation in Fire Suppression Servicing, Repairs and Installs
  • Completion of other tasks as required from time to time.
  • Inspection and testing and maintenance of Mobile fire systems including, Fire indicator Panels,  and Mobile Fleet.


To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Current Driver’s License.
  • A construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Some experience in a similar role where you are responsible for basic maintenance and/or mobile service delivery is desirable.
  • An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work away from home when required.
  • Demonstrate efficiency through prior time and route planning.
  • Can prepare written reports and Service documents
  • Be a proactive member of the team.
  • FPAS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred or willing to obtain with in house training.

Onsite Administration Assistant

Full Time – 12 month Contract

An Onsite Administration Assistant will provide administrative, clerical and general project support to project team members including office and site-based staff. The incumbent will be the first point of contact to all guests onsite and be responsible for maintaining site office amenities and organising site meetings (internal & external parties).

Tasks will include;

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally.
  • Handle inquiries promptly and courteously, both in person and over the phone.
  • Take accurate messages and direct calls efficiently.
  • Coordinate catering for meetings and act as the primary point of contact for client and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage project schedules and meeting bookings effectively.

Mandatory Knowledge & Experience

We’re hiring Trainee Portable Technicians, preferably with a mechanical or trade background. Ideal candidates have experience with machinery.

  • Hold a valid White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate) or can obtain one.
  • A driver’s license is a must, as the role may involve travel. A clean driving record is preferred.

Monitoring Officer

As a Monitoring Officer, you will play a crucial role in operations by effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, processing alarm signals, and providing exceptional support to the monitoring center in Brisbane.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process alarm signals and events received from monitored alarm systems following established procedures.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and address customer requests or inquiries following current monitoring processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all alarm events and incoming telephone calls are actioned in a timely manner with the appropriate response to meet customer expectations.
  • Provide support to the Brisbane Monitoring Centre as directed by the Duty Manager or Team Leader.
  • Always maintain adherence to ASIAL Compliance requirements.
  • Record requests for after-hours service technicians for non-monitored customers and follow established processes.
  • Handle inquiries related to driver safety and escalate details to management when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, or Team Leader.
